Blubber

A personal internship monitoring agent, built and run by Aidan Chien for one person: its owner. This page, the privacy policy, and the terms of service are public; the rest of this site is the owner's private dashboard.

What it does

Blubber watches public internship lists on GitHub, company career boards, and job boards for new postings that match a saved search, evaluates each one against that search, and sends a short Telegram alert to the owner when a posting is worth a look. A scheduled cloud job collects postings; a worker on the owner's own computer evaluates them.

It is not a product or a service. There is no sign-up, no account, and no way for anyone other than the owner to use it.

Google account access

With the owner's consent, the worker reads the owner's own Gmail inbox through the Gmail API's read-only permission to spot recruiter mail that needs a quick reply: interview times, offers, and deadlines. It never sends, modifies, archives, or deletes mail, and the token that grants access stays on the owner's computer. The privacy policy describes exactly what is read and what is kept.
